Trish Altass and two Community Researchers, Tina & Barb, provide municipal candidates with a presentation on their report, The Community Research Project: Economic Hardships in Guelph & Wellington
The purpose of the Research, Learning & Evaluation Working Group is to conduct research and provide learning and evaluation opportunities that support the activities of the Guelph & Wellington Task Force for Poverty Elimination. Its members work collaboratively to:
- To understand the service gaps, frustrations, areas of greatest need, assets and available resources for those living in poverty.
- Through various research methods, ensure the community is aware of current and emerging trends and issues regarding poverty in Guelph and Wellington County.
- To conduct and highlight action-oriented research that enables the action groups to support the strategic directions and overall vision of the Poverty Task Force.
