Everyone in our community has a role to play in eliminating poverty, including elected officials in the City of Guelph and Wellington County. As we quickly approach the 2014 municipal election on October 27th, the goal of the Poverty Task Force is to make sure that candidates understand the facts and know their role. We also want to ensure that members of the community have the information they need to ask candidates questions and let them know that poverty elimination is a key priority in this election.
